EMP Response to the COVID-19

March 18, 2020

Dear Valued Customer,

We want to thank you for your patience during this very challenging situation and provide you with an update on EMP’s response to the COVID-19 (the coronavirus) health emergency.

As a result of the coronavirus, demand is higher than usual. Processing and shipping of orders will likely be delayed. Availability of personal protection equipment (i.e. masks, gowns and eye protection) and infection control supplies (i.e. hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, etc.) is extremely limited at this point. We are removing the ability to purchase out-of-stock items on the website as quickly as we can, but availability changes by the minute. If you place an order for items that we can no longer fulfill, your order may be cancelled. If this happens, we will contact you via email, and you will not be charged.

We are actively working with our manufacturer partners to address inventory shortages, and will bring in stock as it becomes available. We understand the importance of these products in helping protect from the virus, and our highest priority is to serve first responders and healthcare providers as they navigate this uncharted territory.

We take the health and safety of our employees very seriously, and we are complying with all government sterilizing recommendations.. We have taken measures to sanitize our warehouse and offices and continue to implement best practices for disease prevention, as outlined on the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) website to help keep our employees safe. Warehouse employees have been provided with personal protection equipment for their safety, and the safety of our customers. Employees who are not required for on-site activities are working from home, and travel has been restricted.

We understand that in today’s world, reliable partnership is fundamental to business. I believe that our mission to help those who save and improve patients’ lives is never more important than at times like these. We are committed to being your partner, and if there is anything more we can do to help you through these difficult times, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Thank you for your continued trust in EMP, and we look forward to serving you throughout the year.
