As he worked as a firefighter paramedic, Smithworks Medical's founder noticed nothing was being done to effectively warm IV fluids in the pre-hospital arena. He founded Smithworks Medical to create a solution and continues to develop product lines for IV heating and transport that are designed with the patient and care providers' needs in mind.
