Risk Management Principles at Structure Fires
2010-11-12T16:07:03
When fighting fires in abandoned, vacant and unoccupied structures fire fighters are often injured or killed. These structures pose additional risks to fire fighters due the greater potential of unanticipated and unsafe building conditions. Risk management principles should be enforced at all structure fires to ensure the best strategy and tactics are used based on the situation at hand.
