Recall of All Lots of Alcohol Prep Pads, Swabs & Swabsticks

Triad Group, a manufacturer of over-the-counter products, initiated a voluntary recall on January 5, 2011 on all lots of alcohol prep pads, alcohol swabs and alcohol swabsticks due to a potential microbial contamination. The recall includes both sterile and non-sterile products.

The affected alcohol prep pads, alcohol swabs and alcohol swabsticks may be identified by either “Triad Group” as the manufacturer, or the products that are manufactured for a third party use the names listed below in their packaging:

  • Cardinal Health
  • PSS Select
  • VersaPro
  • Boca/ Ultilet
  • Moore Medical
  • Walgreens
  • CVS
  • Conzellin

If you’re a consumer and have any of these products in your possession do not use them. Return the product to the place it was purchased or contact Triad Group Customer Service Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. Central Time: 262.538.2900.
