National EMS Week

National EMS Week is May 20 – 26 and that puts us right in the midst of it!  This year’s theme is “EMS: More Than A Job.  A Calling.”  The purpose of National Emergency Medical Services Week is to join local communities and medical personnel to promote safety and honor to the dedication of those who deliver their lifesaving skills every day.

If you haven’t already, at some point in your life, more than likely you or a loved one will rely on the services of an EMS provider.  Take a moment to thank the EMS personnel in your community.  They deserve it.  And, if you’re up for it, make a video like the Center for Emergency Medicine and STAT MedEvac did to show their thanks.
