April is National Donate Life Month and one thing has got to be made clear: you’re never too old donate! People of all ages can be donors, yes, even into their 80s and older.

Aside from age not being an eligibility requirement, neither is perfect health. At your time of death your ability to donate will then be determined.

Organ and tissue transplants are needed by people all over America. The national transplant waiting list is comprised of people of all ages, infants to grandparents.

Every 11 minutes someone is added to the transplant waiting list. Every day approximately 75 people receive organ transplants. Every day about 18 people die waiting for an organ. Did you know one organ donor can save up to eight lives?
