Step by Step Instructions

For inward swinging doors:

1. Place device on the floor
2. Slide metal plates under the door
3. Push outward on the handles to engage the plates on the exterior door jamb
4. Insert pin

For outward swinging doors:

1. Position the device so the bar rests against the door jam on either side
2. Ensure built-in hook grabs the door handle
3. Turn the handle until it is snug

For scissor action doors:

1. Slide the device over the door closer arm
2. Use with the Barracuda™ Model DSI for Inward Swinging Doors

Troy Lowe designed the Barracuda™ Intruder Defense System. He is a decorated military veteran, who is currently a firefighter and SWAT team member in Ohio. As a SWAT team medic, he works to prevent tragedies in his community through shooter response training programs.
