The Rusch TruView EVO Laryngoscope is an optical view laryngoscope blade which is designed to provide indirect laryngoscopy with continuous oxygen insufflations more safely, clearly and more easily. Indicated for use in both standard and difficult intubation, the Rusch TruView EVO illuminates and expands giving an angular view of the larynx and adjacent structures, thereby facilitating endotracheal intubation.
The Rusch TruView Evo uses an optical system view tube which consists of prisms and lenses that extend vision beyond the distal end of the blade. The Rusch TruView Evo Laryngoscope Kit is designed to decrease lacerations and bleeding of the pharyngeal-laryngeal mucosal tissue. It reduces the amount of force needed to successfully intubate a patient by greater than 30%. It also protects against dental injury, reduces post-intubation sore throat and minimizes risk of esophageal intubation.
