Designed to educate students how sexually transmitted diseases, such as hepatitis B and AIDS, are spread, the AIDS and STD Transmissions and Control Simulation Kit uses hands-on activities to simulate the effects of the exchange of “body fluids.” Testing identifies “Patient Zero” and the chain of contacts that resulted in infection. Also examines the role of latex barriers in prevention.
