SafetyMate is an interactive First Aid/CPR Refresher Tool that verbally coaches a user through a medical emergency until professional help arrives. The handheld Emergency Instruction Device (EID) asks yes/no questions, and uses the answers to provide step-by-step instructions, arming both regular citizens and trained medical professionals with the information needed to take vital, life-saving steps until help arrives.
